Officially joining the family business in 2005, my initial position was a part time clerical support role. Rapid development in the years that followed meant that I became more involved in the company’s administration, compliance and HR, increasing my hours along the way.
As our parents looked ahead to their retirement years, a strategic long-term plan for the succession of the business was formulated and subsequently, we have made the smooth transition into second generation management through myself and David.
I now oversee all group admin, compliance and HR, areas which have all grown significantly in recent years. As a group of companies we are developing all the time, but I love that we remain a close-knit team throughout, with the original family values at our core.
